THE BIGGPOPPA STORY
A Dream That Became a Family Legacy
In 2008, Biggpoppa Popcorn was born from one simple dream: to build something meaningful to pass on to the next generation.
Back then, "the next generation" meant an 11-year-old watching from the sidelines, a set of 1-year-old twins, and a newborn. The dream felt distant, something we'd build toward over time, hoping they'd one day want to be part of it.
Seventeen years later, that hope became reality.
The Turning Point
At 14, our oldest daughter asked to help. She started packing orders, labeling bags, and working events. For years, she was our right hand, learning the business, perfecting the process, building the foundation.
Today, she's in college pursuing her own calling as a psychologist. But those years she spent helping? They laid the groundwork for everything Biggpoppa has become.
THE NEXT WAVE
Meanwhile, those toddlers who watched us start in 2008? They grew up in the business. And now they run it.
OUR SON fire-pops every batch by hand, using the same technique he watched us perfect for years.
HIS TWIN SISTER ensures every customer feels valued, bringing the same care her older sister showed when she first started at 14.
OUR YOUNGEST brings creativity with specialty lemonades at events and markets, adding her own flair to the Biggpoppa experience.
FROM WATCHING TO BUILDING TO LEADING
What started as a dream in 2008, witnessed by four kids, became a reality through one generation's dedication, and is now carried forward by the next.
Seventeen years. Two generations. One legacy.
We fire-pop every batch by hand over an open flame. We make everything fresh to order. And we give 10% of profits to charity, because we believe in building something bigger than ourselves.
